Roll n' Dough
Hey!
A baking blog without the unnecessary yap. Just satisfying, straight-to-the-point recipes — no long life stories before the ingredients list.

But if you *are* curious about who’s behind Roll n’ Dough, welcome to my corner of the internet. I’m Lisa — a self-taught baker from Germany, where Kaffee & Kuchen (aka “coffee and cake time”) is practically a sacred ritual. I grew up on perfectly sweet, fluffy cakes made by my mum and grandma, where no family gathering was complete without a generous spread of baked goods and coffee.
As a kid, I didn’t just want to eat the cakes — I wanted to bake them, too. I spent much time in the kitchen learning my mums and grandmas tips, techniques, and treasured family recipes, which still inspire me today.
My passion for baking really took off during my studies. In the middle of busy weeks, baking became my safe space — a slow, creative ritual that helped me breathe. Over the years, I started developing and refining my own recipes, testing them again and again until they tasted just right.
Now in my late twenties, I created Roll n’ Dough to share those recipes with you — without the fluff. If you’ve ever been frustrated scrolling past someone’s “first lemon cake memory” just to get to the ingredients… I hear you. That’s why all of my recipes are no-fuss, easy to follow, and right to the point.
Every recipe has been tested multiple times to ensure it’s perfectly sweet (never too sweet), full of flavor, and easy to recreate at home. I focus on seasonal baking, using sustainable ingredients wherever possible — not just for the planet, but because it honestly makes everything taste better. 🌱
So, that’s me — and that’s Roll n’ Dough. If you have a question about a recipe or just want to say hi, drop a comment. I love hearing from you, and I always appreciate the feedback. 💬
